Role Description:
This role is part of the Category Expansion team which is focused on introducing new product lines with best quality data and media. You will lead and manage the IDQ for all product lines on the platform, including Nivoda's in-house media operations and those that will be launched in the future. This position requires extensive research and will collaborate closely with supplier relations, quality analysts, buying team, tech team and data analysts to transform data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions. This person must work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to the many changing processes and technology associated with the various data warehouse environments.
Key Result Areas:
Input goals:
Number of stones available on platform with key information
Number of stones available on platform with media
Output goals:
Number of customers’ requests for additional information about the stones
Number of cancellations as a result of information not matching what was shown
Number of returns due to quality/info mismatch
What you'll do:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Solve problems related to data and media for both suppliers and customers
Set standards for QC for each product category and add complete details of the stones online to help our customers make purchases quickly and without any ambiguity around data mismatch or concerns related to quality
Implementation of data quality based on the customers’ data quality guidelines
Data profiling, cleansing, standardization, verification, matching and data quality exception monitoring and handling
Collaborate with various business and technical teams to gather requirements around data quality rules and propose the optimization of these rules if applicable, then design and develop these rules for improvement of IDQ
Data driven approach to increase business and solve problems
Automation and standardization of key parameters for enabling sales growth
Improve operational management systems by working with technology team and suggesting appropriate features to improve efficiency
Design and execute the data quality mappings
Keep thorough records of all mappings and rules to ensure that the information is displayed correctly
Proven ability to work independently or in conjunction with a team
Incorporating process changes and updates into the Standard Operating Procedures
Review and assess the quality and selection capabilities of each supplier
Monitor the performance of the categories to ensure the quality of the product and customer satisfaction across all key inputs
Skills:
4-5 years of product management experience in an ecommerce capacity
Experience with Jewelry or Lifestyle companies would be a plus
Ability to access information using automated systems
A data driven decision maker
Excellent data analysis
Strong stakeholder management skills
Experience with data querying languages like SQL (Others would be a plus)
Structured problem solver. You can identify user and business problems and use technology to solve them
Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
